Two things stand out. First, every advertisement reviewed asks for a degree from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission, so a degree from an unrecognized institute can end your application at the first filter. Second, even the junior officer posts ask for at least a year of relevant experience, so a fresh graduate should watch for management trainee style intakes and internships rather than direct officer posts.
Management Trainee Route for Fresh Graduates
NBP has used management trainee batches to bring in young graduates. Older trainee advertisements asked for a recognized master level degree such as an MBA or equivalent and set a minimum academic score, with the cut off written as a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent. Requirements change from batch to batch, so use that only as an idea of what the bank has asked for in the past and read the current notice for the exact criteria.
